Advanced Logistic & Supply Chain Management Program

Women Cab Driver Livelihood Program

The women cab driver training program in Delhi, sponsored by CEAT SWAYAM and organized by Disha Foundation, successfully trained 125 candidates. The course was divided into two parts: classroom training and on-road training. In the classroom sessions, Functional English, Road Science, and Self-Defense training were included. After completing the classroom training, candidates applied for Learner's Licenses (LLR). Upon receiving the LLR, candidates underwent 21 days of rigorous on-road training under expert supervision. Finally, they applied for the driving test with the appropriate authority.

Despite its challenges, the Disha Foundation team excelled in facilitating the program. Pillion Group and Bajaran Motors visited the center and selected many candidates. Notably, Tumpa Berman emerged as one of the candidates who set a milestone by becoming the first women bike rider from the Pillion Group.

Disha Foundation, in collaboration with the National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), conducted a 5-day Advanced Management Development Program (MDP) on Logistic & Supply Chain Management.

The program aimed to enhance the participants' understanding and skills in managing logistics and supply chain operations efficiently. The program witnessed the active participation of graduate and postgraduate candidates who exhibited a keen interest in advancing their knowledge and expertise in logistics and supply chain management.

The sessions were interactive, engaging participants in discussions, case studies, and hands-on exercises to facilitate a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

# Placement Support

We organized a placement drive at the center and invited several companies to participate. These companies visited the center and conducted their recruitment process. They carefully evaluated the candidates and selected those who met their criteria for success.
